Similar to aszlig, I have fond memories of these fonts. I've not been
able to use them though because of my work. Maybe these will work
better, and v2 of these fonts will hopefully land in nixpkgs soon too.

Whatever the case, I don't want this anymore.
This reverts commit 04bbb9966ba29fca3026a606adaa42a8a415523b.

According to [1], `udev` has gained native support for FIDO security
tokens, and subsequently has been removed upstream.

I shouldn't be working today I think.

With VirtualBox gone, I should be able to use the latest Linux kernel
again. Yippie!

Having added nerdfonts was a bad idea because it's 5G apparently. Let's
not do this to aszlig's hydra.

VBox doesn't build with the newest Kernel. So, best to stick with the
old 5.4 for now.

Right now, I got no way of using Nitrokey. Yay.

These have been removed very recently.

The missing sauce to get Nitrokey U2F to work.

As per @aszlig's suggestion.
Still doesn't work though :(
However, I'll keep it in, just in case it'll work one day.

This addresses a new assertion to the way NixOS handles networks with
networkd [1].
As a result this disables `networking.useDHCP` globally on all my
machines. Explicit interface configuration, as requested by [1] will be
handled in separate commits due to separate machines, not all of which I
have access to right now.

This new font by MS isn't bad.

Most machines are Intel, but not all, therefore we must now apply CPU
microcode updates to different manufacturers explicitly. Something that
needs DRYing, yet again.

Never mind. This doesn't work, of course.

With this set the timezone should be automatically set as promised by
services.localtime.

What would we do without Arch Linux' wiki, I wonder.

Currently marked as broken in nixpkgs.

Pulse used to work fine without this, something changed, and so I'm
adding `dev` to `audio` as that seems to fix it.

Without this `programs.light.enable` has no effect.

The currently available VBox version (5.2.22) in nixpkgs does not build
with kernel 4.20, and Vbox 6 is still WIP, so switching to kernel 4.19
for now should hopefully result in VBox being available on my systems.

Introduced in #42798. The usage of `users.extraGroups` is apparently
deprecated and has been replaced with `users.groups`.

I need some of the fonts in google-fonts and since font-awesome-ttf has
been renamed to font-awesome_4, let's reflect that even if it is
aliased.

This is messing with some terminal emulators such as termite and xterm

troubleshooting.

IMHO this module is really too small to factor it out into its own
profile module, so I'm putting it into the base profile as it's really
common among all of devhell's machines.

This is from network/network_common.nix and it really affects all of the
machines, so it makes sense to add it to the base profile.

In his configuration he had machine_common.nix which was imported from
the other machine_*.nix files. However in order to start modularizing
I've converted machine_common.nix into a proper NixOS module which now
resides in modules/user/devhell/profiles/base.nix and can be simply
activated via:
vuizvui.user.devhell.profiles.base.enable = true;
Apart from that I've removed the following configuration definitiens
from machine_common.nix:
nix.binaryCaches = [
"https://headcounter.org/hydra/"
"https://cache.nixos.org/"
];
nix.requireSignedBinaryCaches = true;
nix.binaryCachePublicKeys = [
"headcounter.org:/7YANMvnQnyvcVB6rgFTdb8p5LG1OTXaO+21CaOSBzg="
"cache.nixos.org-1:6NCHdD59X431o0gWypbMrAURkbJ16ZPMQFGspcDShjY="
];
nix.nixPath = lib.mkOptionDefault [
"nixpkgs=/home/dev/git/remote/other_github/nixpkgs"
];
The reason for removing them is because we already handle that via the
vuizvui core modules (modules/core/common.nix).
I've tested this by evaluating the machines by temporarily setting
"allowUnfree = true" (which is part of another module I didn't migrate
yet) and it succeeds.
