| | | | | | This reverts commit 7415729ff62b9ad5ce5a166c227d5c882094fe6b. Nope, can't do without VBox right now. Damn work.
* profiles/services: Enable geoip-updater and geoclue2devhell2018-12-281-2/+4
| | | | | Let's try again with geoip2. This time I built and tested it locally before applying it to vuizvui. All seems well, for now...
* profiles/services: Disable virtualboxdevhell2018-12-271-1/+1
| | | | For now...
* profiles/services: Remove erroneous rngddevhell2018-11-121-1/+0
| | | | | | | | Being tired and trying to do Nix doesn't work, so removing `services.rngd` because it doesn't exist (it's security.rngd). Thinking about it, there's probably no reason to explicity enable it if it's already enabled by default because at the end of the day we can still look it up if needed.
* profiles/services: Replave haveged with rngddevhell2018-11-111-1/+1
| | | | | | We have `rngd` enabled by default, but I'm including it here for reference. From what I understand `rngd` is preferred due to hardware RNG support.
* Revert "profiles/services: Enable geoclue2 in redshift"devhell2018-10-111-1/+2
| | | | | | This reverts commit e22360351ac6ca73605ee782a4fa3926a490eeda. Who knows when geoclue2 will work, going manual now.
* profiles/services: Remove profile-sync-daemondevhell2018-10-061-6/+0
| | | | | | | It has been reworked in [1], and since I don't use it at the moment there is reason to keep even the deactivated version around. [1] https://github.com/NixOS/nixpkgs/pull/46106
* profiles/services: Set vbox enableHardening to falsedevhell2018-10-031-1/+1
| | | | This should hopefully fix the 3D host acceleration issue.
* profiles/services: Enable offlineimapdevhell2018-04-081-0/+6
| | | | | I really, really miss mutt et al., it's time that I get it back up and running with offlineimap and notmuch.
* profiles/services: Enable keybase servicedevhell2018-04-071-0/+1
| | | | To my surprise keybase now needs a systemd unit. So, let's add it.
* profiles/services: Enable geoclue2 in redshiftdevhell2018-04-021-2/+1
| | | | | Since moving around a lot with the laptop, there is not much sense trying to set the lat/long.
* profiles/services: Add pcscddevhell2018-04-011-0/+1
| | | | Needed for Nitrokey to work with gpg.
* profiles/services: Switch enableKVM to qemuPackagedevhell2018-01-021-1/+1
| | | | | The option `enableKVM` has been deprecated in favor of defining the qemu package to use instead.
* Revert "profiles/{packages,modules}: Disable VirtualBox"devhell2017-12-221-6/+6
| | | | | | | This reverts commit 6edeead10bcabbd86cf499589f1b1911e0ccd2f2. Nope, can't do this. I still need VBox for uni work as it's part of a series of lectures I have to give.
* profiles/{packages,modules}: Disable VirtualBoxdevhell2017-12-211-6/+6
| | | | Hydra has some issues with this, so disabling again for now.
* virtualbox: Reenabledevhell2017-11-251-6/+6
| | | | I tried. I can't work without it at the moment.
* profiles/{packages,services}: Disable VirtualBoxdevhell2017-11-151-6/+6
| | | | | Currently VBox 5.2 is not working with Linux Kernel 4.14. I'll try and work with libvirtd instead for the moment.
* profiles/services: Switch i3 to i3-gapsdevhell2017-10-251-1/+4
| | | | | Yeah, looks cool and actually helps "aesthetically" with discerning window boundaries.
* profiles/services: Enable syncthing dataDir to ~devhell2017-10-061-0/+1
|
* Factor out devhell's services into vuizvuiaszlig2017-06-221-0/+88
I've added another profile called "services", which now resembles the services_common.nix from the previous configuration. The machine-specific definitions now reside directly inside the machine's Nix expressions for now, until they're properly refactored. Most of these machine-specific values can be easily modularized, especially the xrdb config, for example having one base xrdb module and only small machine-specific definitions if stuff needs to be overridden.
