Not a big deal because Starbound ignores unknown nodes, but having
something like this in the resulting config file is a bit ugly:
{
"serverUsers" : {
"user1" : {
"_module" : {
"args" : {
"name" : "user1"
},
"check" : true
},
"admin" : false,
"password" : "passwd1"
}
}
}

Very preliminary and doesn't have all the option descriptions right, nor
does it have convenience features such as setting allowAdminCommands
based on whether any users are defined with admin privileges.
Of course the latter needs to undergo the decision on how to handle RCON
connections, because the latter *might* need that option.
But apart from that single option, there are a lot more options we need
to flesh out.
Also, the test currently is very limited and only spins up a client,
connects to the server and does a movement (just walk to the right).
Needless to say, it's even quite fragile and relies on OCR to properly
detect the custom pixel fonts from Starbound. Which unfortunately fails
most of the time.

This really is specific to the RTL8192CX chipset and I originally was
using this for tyree along with the mainline kernel modules.
Unfortunately, I had connection drop outs so I switched to the original
Realtek driver, which is now vuizvui.hardware.rtl8192cu, so the firmware
is used and should be enabled there as well.

It's actually a backport of Realtek's own USB WiFi driver that is not
(yet?) in mainline. I'm using this for tyree (the T100HA) because the
internal WiFi card isn't recognized by SDHCI yet.

Essentially forcing DPMS standby and bringing it on again for now
mitigates the vblank issue with the I915 driver.
Of course in the long term I need to debug this properly, but for now
this works consistently so I'll leave it that way.

Both of these patches are from the following Google Drive:
https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B4DiU2o72FbuejQ1S2VZZW5xV2c
The meta-keys-asus.patch (which is called just meta-keys.patch in this
repository) is used verbatim.
However, the baytrail-backlight.4.4.patch (here just backlight.patch) is
a rebased version of the patch from the Google Drive with a few
modifications by me, which boils down to:
* Remove the module parameter force_backlight_pmic, because this module
is hardware-specific so we don't actually need to do that (and *if*
we want to do that we'd compile it in directly).
* Add an unused pipe function argument to vlv_pmic_setup_backlight().
As the backlight patch introduces the functions intel_soc_pmic_readb()
and intel_soc_pmic_writeb() which are not available at module link time,
I have also added DRM_I915 to be compiled into the kernel.
In addition I needed to disable VIDEO_EM28XX and RAPIDIO, because they
do not compile with linux-next-20160226 and I didn't bother to provide
fixes because it's for hardware that is not existing on the T100HA.
Note that I'm using linux-next-20160226 here instead of 20160229 because
the latter has some networking I/O issues right now.
This makes the backlight, battery status and charging usable on the
T100HA and the fixes from the drm-intel-fixes branch are no longer
needed because they're already in linux-next-20160229.

So far INTEL_SOC_PMIC hasn't been enabled *at* *all* so there wasn't any
battery status available nor did it charge while the system was running.
Enabling INTEL_SOC_PMIC now solves this issue.

In NixOS/nixpkgs@d4636fa, the nixosPinVersion got removed, so we need to
avoid evaluating it.
Some other tests were added in the meantime, namely:
* PostgreSQL (NixOS/nixpkgs@109ba4c)
* Grsecurity (NixOS/nixpkgs@dd18447)
* initrd-network (NixOS/nixpkgs@cc925d0)
* Mathics (NixOS/nixpkgs@fe8498f)

We already have a directory just for hardware-specific configuration
options and the module option already says "vuizvui.hardware", so it
should better be consistent with the directory layout.

The custom kernel has built in modules for the MMC storage and a small
patch which is essentially diff of the merge of the "drm-intel-fixes"
branch from git://anongit.freedesktop.org/drm-intel against 4.5-rc5.
This is the HEAD of what I have merged:
https://cgit.freedesktop.org/drm-intel/commit/?h=drm-intel-fixes&id=9b18572e83bfd5378b3fcff3acf123f7bddf558a
Eventually these fixes will hit mainline so we can drop them very soon.

Geesh, the configuration is getting more and more rotten and it's time
to make this in a more generic configuration *very* soon.
The configuration does have a lot of cruft in it because it's a bunch of
"make oldconfig" iterations and no cleanup in-between.
In addition, even if I'd do the cleanup I'd probably want common options
to be factored out.
But for now let's keep the config as-is until 4.6 comes out and we
either play the "make oldconfig" game again or we finally rewrite it.

Quite useful for paging logs so that I don't all the time need to either

idea to rely on the deployment machine being up, which also makes it two

The Quake 3 demo data have been marked as "unfreeRedistributable" in
NixOS/nixpkgs@6b447a3, which causes this test to not evaluate unless we
set config.allowUnfree to true.
I guess the best solution to fix this upstream is to use something like
OpenArena for the Quake 3 tests, because I didn't manage to find
anything regarding the demo files and/or whether those are
redistributable or not.

I've added that test in NixOS/nixpkgs@4c61faa and it fails at the
moment, still leaving the channels in a broken state in regards to
networkd.
The reason I'm doing this anyway is to ensure I won't forget to add that
test here as well. We can't easily go back to the "not broken" state
anymore, except if we roll back to a version with systemd < 228.

This is primarily for whenever I'm on the road with varying degrees of
internet connectivity.
What it essentially does is ssh to mmrnmhrm, then ssh to taalo and then
run nix-store --serve --write on it. Taalo is the Hydra master of
https://headcounter.org/hydra/ and it has remote builds enabled.
The script essentially only builds on the remote host but doesn't fetch
the builds. The latter can be done if the Hydra is added as a build
cache to the local system, which in case of vuizvui is by default.

Using an equality test on an attribute set is actually a very bad idea,
because it forces strict evaluation.
In this case a simple test on the kernel version between the defined one
and the available one should be sufficient.
And if we have a false-positive in test inclusions it doesn't hurt
anyway.

This time I've gone through the hoops of almost running out of memory,
because evaluating the channel expression now eats lots of RAM.
Meaning: I've now actually tested it on my system without just throwing
it at the Hydra box which has lots of RAM... unlike my local machine :-(

environment.systemPackages or are otherwise tricky to include or to

Unfortunately, we went into trouble and the Hydra machine not only
consumed lots of ram during evaluation but it also triggered a bunch of
evaluation errors because the available tests were strictly evaluated.
Using attribute paths consisting of plain strings doesn't have the same
problem, even though they look a bit uglier.

So my gut feeling in 90c080e was't wrong after all, so we need to create
jobs for all the tests the machines include.
In order to make this easier, we're going to re-use the collection of
all test attributes from release.nix so putting it in lib/ makes sense.
