Part of: https://github.com/NixOS/nixpkgs/issues/108938
meta = with stdenv.lib;
is a widely used pattern. We want to slowly remove
the `stdenv.lib` indirection and encourage people
to use `lib` directly. Thus let’s start with the meta
field.
This used a rewriting script to mostly automatically
replace all occurances of this pattern, and add the
`lib` argument to the package header if it doesn’t
exist yet.
The script in its current form is available at
https://cs.tvl.fyi/depot@2f807d7f141068d2d60676a89213eaa5353ca6e0/-/blob/users/Profpatsch/nixpkgs-rewriter/default.nix

After making `ffmpeg` point to the latest `ffmpeg_4`, all packages that
used `ffmpeg` without requiring a specific version now use ffmpeg_3
explicitly so they shouldn't change.

There ver very many conflicts, basically all due to
name -> pname+version. Fortunately, almost everything was auto-resolved
by kdiff3, and for now I just fixed up a couple evaluation problems,
as verified by the tarball job. There might be some fallback to these
conflicts, but I believe it should be minimal.

Semi-automatic update generated by https://github.com/ryantm/nixpkgs-update tools.
This update was made based on information from https://repology.org/metapackage/clipgrab/versions.
These checks were done:
- built on NixOS
- Warning: no binary found that responded to help or version flags. (This warning appears even if the package isn't expected to have binaries.)
- found 3.6.8 with grep in /nix/store/1y989g5la7p05gizhmkbiq8k7c93yv27-clipgrab-3.6.8

Goodbye, and thanks for all the Nix...

Let's get rid of those merge conflicts.
|
|
This will probably be mandatory soon, and is a step in the right
direction. Removes the deprecated meta.version, and move some meta
sections to the end of the file where I should have put them in
the first place.

TODO: there was more significant refactoring of qtbase and plasma 5.5
on master, and I'm deferring pointing to correct outputs to later.
|

|
|
The most complex problems were from dealing with switches reverted in
the meantime (gcc5, gmp6, ncurses6).
It's likely that darwin is (still) broken nontrivially.

|
|
|
|
|
Also fix some referrers.
|
|
Support is optional (pass ffmpeg = null), but enabled by default.
